An Evening with Molly Ringwald at Live Talks Los AngelesAmerica’s sweetheart, teen queen of the ’80s Molly Ringwald debuts her first fiction book, “When It Happens To You.” Ms. Ringwald will be at Live Talks Los Angeles on September 5th discussing her debut fiction in conversation with Meghan Daum, Los Angeles Times columnist at Bergamot Station Santa Monica, CA. Proceeds from tickets to the reception support the upcoming Live Talks Los Angeles. The book depicts about a Los Angeles family, their friends and neighbors as they deal with bumps and murky journey of everyday life – infidelity, affliction and vulnerability.

Molly Ringwald known for John Hughes’ films such as Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club started working professionally at the age of 10. For the past 20 years she has appeared on various tv shows, film and broadway. She made her broadway debut as Sally Bowles in Broadway’s long-running revival of Cabaret. She is currently starring in ABC Family network’s series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Now married to Panio Gianopoulos, a writer and editor and has 3 beautiful kids.
