On Feb 17th (invitation-only preview) – 20th after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19 , Frieze LA art fair returned to a new location in Beverly Hills from its previous site in Paramount Studios. The new venue is located on Wilshire Boulevard adjacent to the Beverly Hilton Hotel. It has been a tradition of mine to visit Frieze LA not only for artistic presentations and international galleries but also its bespoke structure and brimming with well-dressed crowds.  This year Frieze LA was led for the first time by Christine Messineo (Director of Frieze Los Angeles and Frieze New York) and designed by renowned L.A. architect Kulapat Yantrasast known for his remarkable designs such as Metropolitan Museum of Art AAOA Galleries in New York, Grand Rapids Art Museum, and the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre, in Russia.

According to the LA Times, Frieze LA housed 100 exhibitors representing 17 countries.
