“Dreams Do Come True” was the theme of the Glaudi fashion show last March 25th at the Beverly Cañon Gardens in Beverly Hills.
Johana Hernandez, founder of Glaudi, a bridal designer who also designs women’s power suits wanted to recognize women in honor of Women’s History Month by having astounding panelists on the first segment of the event. These women are:

The Glaudi fashion show couldn’t have come during a better time: the first week of spring. It was the perfect location topped with gorgeous weather – sunny after days and days of rain.
The ambiance was filled with beautiful people devouring light bites with champagne. The panelists wore custom Glaudi suits inspired by their styles. Their earrings are made from the extra fabric of the wedding dresses. Johana also mentioned, “We employ 100 women from El Salvador, keeping them working.” She added, “It’s really cool to make a difference.”
Giselle Fernandez the host of the event asked the designer about her role models. The name Glaudi Fashion was named after her mother. And her role model is her mom and her faith in God. “My faith is important, so I like to pray for the dresses I created whether a suit or a dress on the red carpet,” Johana remarked. Johana’s trademark is blessing the dresses. At 19, she went to fashion school and got a job quickly as a head designer. “I was already ahead because I learned from my grandma and my aunts how to make clothing. You know the great thing about women too when we have leading roles, we can give work and help people,” she said. Johana’s objective with this event is to give a positive impact on the audience, to be inspired, to be a leader, and to help others.
The Glaudi Fashion Show

Cora G. is my guest blogger who also attended the Glaudi Fashion Show. She mentioned that she loved the timeless classic look, for example, the A-line style because it flatters various figure shapes.
“Each of the models glowed in Johana’s bridal creations, of course including the bridesmaid gowns. But the top of my list is the classic look with a cathedral veil, an A-line skirt, nude mesh long sleeves, and beaded lace stitched into leaf patterns across the bodice. This piece is just ethereal that is perfectly suited for the blushing bride who prefers a more classic look.
My next favorite is the strapless bare shoulders sweetheart neckline with high leg slits and intricately embellished with beading sequins, and flower lace embroidered from the bodice that runs until the knee length of the skirt. This A-line gown with a train is simply elegant whether you want your hair in loose waves or ballerina bun French twist or a chignon.
Another one on my list is the sparkly wedding gown. This is your day to shine and dazzle everyone with the off-the-shoulder intertwined straps around your decollete. The style is simple despite the shimmer and shines all over. The voluminous skirt is just perfect for a regal walk down the aisle. The high-slit and the A-line skirt make it so comfortable for all-day glam and comfort.
For a formal quince, or sweet 16 or 18th debut, this gold shimmer quince gown is mesmerizing. With a corset design top and gold appliqué throughout the long bouffant skirt, your teen will be the princess of the night.
Johana’s vast selection of styles from princess-inspired attire to shimmering effervescence to traditional will make every bride, bridesmaid, and celebrant look absolutely stunning.”
In celebration of Johana Hernandez and her fiancé John Daniel Hutton upcoming nuptials, the fashion show culminated with the designer modeling her own creation and her fiancé. The show also benefits the charity, EmpowHer.
