The Hollywood Show Meeting with Antonio Sabato Jr., Tracey Gold, Charles Shaughnessy, Chris Atkins and Ed Furlong

I had my first opportunity to go to The Hollywood Show last weekend. It took place at The Marriott Hotel in Burbank this year. Being a newbie to this event, I was impressed at how organized it was and the number of celebrities who came was awesome. Of course, these are the celebs that I grew up with in the ’80s and ’90s

The first familiar face that I spotted was Antonio Sabato Jr. from Melrose Place. Antonio was there with his mom which I thought was sweet. I started conversing with him and did I say I felt like we’re old friends? A total nice guy. I remember him vividly on his signature Calvin Klein humongous billboard on Times Square and of course, the ’90s hit show  Melrose Place. Recently, he was also on Hot in Cleveland on “Dancing Queens” episode. So upon talking to him and requesting if he can be with me in the photo, he said, “Check the photo first and if you need a retake let me know.” So after the photo shoot we reminisced about the ’80s and ’90s era. The conversation went well. I had to stop because I was holding up a line of excited fans.

Next up was Tracey Gold from Growing Pains. Tracey is a darling. She looked so good in a fuchsia pink raffled top and a black blazer. She was so sweet to have a photo with me. I should also mention that I’ve also watched her sister Missy when she was in the TV show Benson. Tracey also appeared in Celebrity Wife Swap early this year.

Charles Shaughnessy as Maxwell Sheffield from the show, The Nanny. Charles recently had a reunion with Fran Drescher on TV land’s hit show Happily Divorced. Charles is a sweet guy, very easy to talk to and a truly down to earth person.

Thanks Charles for promoting my blog on your Facebook page

Christopher Atkins from The Blue Lagoon and The Pirate Movie was my first celeb crush. I remember going to my friend’s house in the early ’80s and watching The Blue Lagoon on Betamax. It was a special treat to have a photo with him. It sure was a trip down memory lane.

Edward Furlong from Terminator 2 Judgement Day and Pet Sematary Two. I’m a big fan of Terminator movies. Who’s not? So I had to stop to have Edward have a photo with the kids.

Overall, it was an exciting experience. I definitely recommend a visit to the Hollywood Show when the next one comes to town.
