10th Los Angeles Travel Adventure Show

Past Shows

It was about three years ago that my family and I decided to check out the Los Angeles Travel Adventure Show in the Long Beach Convention Center. It was out first taste of a travel show. As a travel enthusiast, I felt like a kid entering a candy store. The event featured hundreds of exhibitors and countries representing some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, exclusive special offers and travel experiences. The event is designed for all ages. In fact, my boys had so much fun that we decided to make it a tradition every year.

There were a lot of activities offered for kids, so your family can plan which is the best family friendly destination. First up, we did indoor ziplining, there was also the scuba pool, indoor rock climbing and my kids favorite activity was the bubble rollers.

Aside from the cultural performances, I had a blast listening and watching some of my favorite hosts from The Travel Channel. One in particular was Samantha Brown. After her lecture, she had a “meet and greet” and I was able to have a photo op with her.

What’s in store this year at the 10th Annual LA Travel & Adventure Show?

The nation’s largest consumer travel show, the Los Angeles Travel Adventure Show returns to Long Beach Convention Center on February 21 and 22. Named one of Southern California’s top 100 events by BizBash, tens of thousands of travel aficionados will once again be inspired by the sights, sounds and culture of faraway destinations.

This year, the 10th Annual Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show will feature a greatly expanded show floor, new features, speakers and a plethora of first time exhibitors. Over 3,000 local travel experts from around the planet will man the exhibits to meet one-on-one with Angelenos looking for their next vacation –  whether a weekend getaway or an exotic international adventure.

Taste of Travel at Los Angeles Travel Adventure Show

Unicomm CEO John Golicz stated, “Southern Californians have an appetite for travel and adventure, and this show is a great way to experience the world over one weekend through the eyes of well-traveled speakers and experts from around the globe.” ….“It’s like walking through the world’s best travel guide.”

Try a scuba diving adventure in the dive pool!

This year I’m stoked to cover the event and try scuba diving with my 12-year-old son lead by a dive master. Golicz said, “As the only travel show in the greater Los Angeles metroplex, we are excited by this year’s massive show floor.”  He also mentioned, “Due to the rapid growth of attendees the last few years, we have seen over 100 new exhibitors join this event. We have increased theater capacities, expand aisles to accommodate the crowds, and we even have a dive pool where adventurers 10 and older can try scuba diving with a dive master. It’s a great show for families!”
