On November 15, Warner Bros. Studio Tours hosted a special Friendsgiving Holiday Meal at the iconic fountain featured in the Friends opening credits. The event began with an introduction from Danny Kahn, VP and General Manager of Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Addressing members of the media, influencers, and bloggers, Kahn said, “This legendary iconic television series was right on this lot. I should know—I was the security on their stage for the first time, and it’s really gained momentum throughout the years. It’s something that everybody loves. It’s a comfort for the soul. The studio tour and the Friendsgiving is all about togetherness, celebrating those moments of TV history that you love with your friends and family, and that’s what this is all about today.”
The highlight of my Friendsgiving experience was, of course, the Friendsgiving holiday meal. Not only was it delicious, but it also brought a sense of nostalgia, with dishes inspired by each of the six characters. The menu included Rachel’s Buttery Biscuits, Phoebe’s Sautéed Garlic & Toasted Almond Green Beans, Ross’s Lumpy Mashed Potatoes, Tribbiani’s “How You Doing” Mac & Cheese, Joey’s Sweet Candy Yams, Chandler’s Honey Dijon Glazed Country Ham, Monica’s Slow-Cooked Turkey Basted with Bourbon Molasses Glaze, and many more.
