Kristin Cavallari – launching of her book Balancing in Heels at Laguna Beach Books

On March 20th, the former star of reality television series “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County”, Kristin Cavallari signed her latest book, “Balancing Heels” at Laguna Beach Books in Laguna Beach, CA. Her lifestyle book talks about being a mommy and wife, working out, fashion and beauty, and includes diet and recipe information.

Cavallari was scheduled to be at the venue at 4 pm. I came in around 3 pm, and heard that one of her fans from Torrance, CA had been there since 2 pm. As I was browsing the bookstore I noticed a pretty lady with an entourage walking in. I already suspected it was Cavallari, with her flawless skin, rockin’ a timeless classic pleated skirt and turtle neck top paired with hot trendy baby blue shoes from her spring collection. She looked absolutely stunning. The light color palette wardrobe was just perfect for a casual beach atmosphere, with a classy touch.

When she walked in, I was the first one to greet her. I introduced myself as a local blogger, and she pulled a mega-watt smile and said “Hello, how are you?” As she went to the table, she easily connected with the press photographers. Cavallari was very down to earth and cooperative with the photographers, and especially with the fans. When I was taking photos with the fans, there was no formal rule that they should be on the other side of the table. They posed with Cavallari, and she was comfortable with it. She is definitely a hometown girl.
