The Clean Plate: Eat, Reset, Heal is Gwyneth Paltrow’s new cookbook which she celebrated with fans at The Grove in Los Angeles on January 14. Although it was a rainy day, a lot of fans showed up to Barnes and Noble and it was a great turn out. As Paltrow entered the podium, she was cheered by warm and enthusiastic fans.
The Oscar-winning actress, New York Times bestselling author and founder of Goop picked a relaxed look – turtle neck over sized beige sweater, paired with brown wide-leg pants and Fendi boots. Paltrow fresh from her honeymoon looked stunning with her tousled blonde hair and had hardly any make-up on.
Although the fans were informed that there will be no posed photo-ops, Paltrow broke the rule – she smiled at every photo-op and enjoyed small talk with every attendee.
She was very kind and very warm. And she really lit everyone up to make it a very upbeat, very fun time. – George, Los Angeles
George, a Los Angeles transplant who came to the book signing, described the event, “It was a very fun, very happy event with Gwyneth Paltrow. She was very kind and very warm. And she really lit everyone up to make it a very upbeat, very fun time. Everyone really loved her …. she seemed to enjoy everyone else as well.”
Lynne B. who came all the way from Orange County said, “Gwyneth was delightful and friendly as could be. Looking forward to keeping my New Year’s resolution eating clean and making recipes from ‘The Clean Plate.'”
The book contains six doctor-approved cleanses and over 100 recipes and custom meal plans. In addition, it has our top favorites comfort foods such as Chicken Pho, clean carrot soup, tostada salad and many more.
From soups, burgers, roasted chicken, and smoothies, to salads and drinks like Iced latte and coconut mocha ….. eating clean is doable and nothing comparable has been this fun. As Paltrow puts it, “Everyone’s toolbox for optimal wellness looks different. For me, the most powerful reset button is food. I don’t know any magic bullets, but eating clean comes close.”
