There’s something about Orange County Fashion Week that feels both elevated and refreshingly intimate—and this year’s event on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Ever House Club in Tustin captured that balance beautifully.
As one of California’s premier luxury fashion markets and an official associate of CFDA Connects, OC Fashion Week continues to spotlight emerging local designers while fostering global industry connections. Hosted by entrepreneurs Simon Polito and Jennifer LaBanca, the evening brought together creatives, fashion enthusiasts, and industry insiders under one stylish roof.
The ambiance set the tone from the moment guests arrived. The space was modern and airy, with soft, warm lighting and a minimalist layout that allowed the designs—and the people—to shine. Guests lined the runway in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting, creating an atmosphere that felt less like a traditional fashion show and more like an exclusive, curated experience. From the sleek presentation area to the thoughtfully designed lounge spaces, every detail contributed to a vibe that was both chic and inviting.
But the night went beyond fashion—it was a full creative showcase. I had the opportunity to see the work of three designers: Maxjenny, Diego, and the duo Kyle Denman and Emma Roberts, each bringing their own distinct vision to the runway.

Adding to the experience were artistic performances woven throughout the evening. Graceful ballerina moved seamlessly between segments, elevating the mood, while Norwegian singer Raylee delivered a stunning rendition of If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys—her soulful performance added an emotional layer to the night.
Maxjenny: Bold, Playful, and Unapologetically Vibrant
Maxjenny opened the runway with a vibrant, high-energy collection that immediately captured attention. Known for her signature use of bold colors, her designs felt like wearable art—featuring striking splashes of neon hues, painterly patterns, and expressive prints that commanded the room.
Each piece blended structure with playfulness. From voluminous ruffled shoulders to tailored silhouettes, the collection balanced drama and sophistication effortlessly. The dresses and suits showcased a mix of fluid movement and strong lines, creating a dynamic visual as the models walked the runway.
What stood out most was the fearless use of color—bright reds, electric greens, sunny yellows, and deep blacks layered together in unexpected ways. The designs felt almost like abstract canvases, giving each look a unique personality while still maintaining a cohesive artistic vision.
Maxjenny’s collection wasn’t just fashion—it was a bold statement of creativity and confidence, setting an energetic tone for the rest of the evening.
Diego: Timeless Elegance and Effortless Grace
In contrast to the bold energy of the opening collection, Diego brought a sense of understated elegance and refined sophistication to the runway.
His designs leaned into a softer, more minimalist aesthetic—featuring clean lines, neutral tones, and timeless silhouettes. Flowing gowns in shades of ivory, soft beige, pale blue, and muted pastels created a serene and graceful presence, allowing the craftsmanship and movement of each piece to take center stage.
There was a clear emphasis on femininity and fluidity. From strapless fitted dresses to draped, floor-length gowns with delicate detailing, each look exuded quiet confidence. Subtle textures—like soft shimmer, light pleating, and airy fabrics—added dimension without overpowering the simplicity of the designs.
Diego’s collection was a beautiful study in restraint—proving that simplicity, when executed well, can be just as powerful as bold statements. It offered a calm, polished moment in the show, highlighting a different kind of luxury rooted in elegance and wearability.
Kyle Denman & Emma Roberts with Desert Daisy Jewelry: Fashion as Art
The duo Kyle Denman and Emma Roberts, in collaboration with Desert Daisy Jewelry, presented a collection that felt more like a visual art installation than a traditional runway presentation.
Their designs leaned into avant-garde territory—featuring dramatic silhouettes, sculptural shapes, and intricate detailing that immediately commanded attention. Rich black and gold fabrics adorned with symbolic patterns created a sense of opulence and mystique, while oversized sleeves, structured shoulders, and exaggerated forms gave each piece a powerful, almost regal presence.
What set the collection apart was its storytelling. Elements like flowing white fabrics, striking headpieces, and architectural garments transformed the runway into a stage, blurring the line between fashion and performance art. One standout look featured a voluminous, sculpted white gown that felt both ethereal and commanding.
The addition of Desert Daisy Jewelry elevated each look even further. Statement pieces with bold, artistic craftsmanship served as focal points, enhancing the visual impact while adding depth and personality.
This collection was unapologetically expressive—pushing boundaries and inviting the audience to see fashion not just as clothing, but as a form of storytelling.
A Night Where Fashion Meets Creativity
Orange County Fashion Week 2026 was more than just a runway show—it was a celebration of creativity, artistry, and community. From bold expressions of color to timeless elegance and conceptual design, each collection offered a unique perspective on fashion.
It was a night that reminded us that fashion is not just about what we wear—it’s about how we express, connect, and tell stories.
