Jimmy Eat World marks 25 years of Clarity with the unveiling of the Clarity: Phoenix Sessions limited edition

Following the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Jimmy Eat World’s impactful third studio album, Clarity, and their recently wrapped-up, immensely successful tour alongside Fall Out Boy, the Arizona-based band has unveiled Clarity: Phoenix Sessions today.

This limited-edition double-LP, Clarity: Phoenix Sessions, features sunkissed colored vinyl and boasts an extensive gatefold showcasing previously unreleased behind-the-scenes photographs by Steve Thrasher, along with notes from the band. Self-produced by Jimmy Eat World and flawlessly mixed by Jim Adkins, this release offers a special insight into the making of the album.

Clarity by Jimmy Eat World has made a lasting impact on numerous musicians over the years, including Taylor Swift, who showcased lyrics from “For Me This Is Heaven” into her tour performances. Mark Hoppus of blink-182 has hailed Clarity as “a masterpiece,” while Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy credits the album’s track “Lucky Denver Mint” as the inspiration for his start in singing.
