On August 29, 2026, the OC Fashion Week Summer Edition was held al fresco at Dawson Cole Fine Art in Laguna Beach, California. It was an exceptionally hot summer day, but the heat didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of attendees who gathered for a morning of fashion, art, and creativity.
To help everyone stay comfortable, DCM Beauty provided fans, while plenty of water was made available by Acid Rain Water to ensure that both the models and attendees were well taken care of throughout the event.
Executive Producer Kat Marino even stepped to the front of the crowd to address concerns about the heat and the safety of everyone in attendance.
“We’re trying to move everybody to the shade so that you’re safe in the shade, ’cause we don’t want you to overheat there, and we want you to stay lovely and amazing without melting on us,” Marino said.
The ambiance at Dawson Cole Gallery was elegant and intimate, with guests gathered in the outdoor courtyard surrounded by lush greenery and fine sculpture. Despite the intense summer heat, the thoughtful attention from organizers helped keep guests comfortable while they enjoyed the sophisticated, art-filled setting.
The fashion show began around 11 a.m., kicking off with designs by Melissa Pellone of Pellone Collections.
Pellone Collections
Melissa Pellone’s summer collection brought a mix of romantic florals, breezy silhouettes, playful color, and evening glamour to the runway. The designs felt distinctly feminine while offering a range of looks that could move from a sunny garden gathering to a sophisticated night out.
One of the most eye-catching ensembles paired a black cropped top adorned with vivid fuchsia flowers with a sheer pink skirt covered in dimensional floral appliqués, creating a playful, tropical feel. A fitted black dress with floral lace and sheer detailing offered a more sophisticated take on summer dressing, while a flowing navy floral maxi dress with cutout details and a thigh-high slit captured an effortless resort-inspired elegance.
Soft pastels also had their moment. A lavender high-low dress featured a fitted bodice and flowing asymmetric skirt that moved beautifully on the runway, while a turquoise mini dress with a structured bodice and airy, translucent overlay brought a fresh, youthful feel to the collection.
The range of looks was a striking metallic sequined ensemble, combining shimmering silver and gold tones with a dramatic asymmetrical jacket. The bold piece added a dose of red-carpet glamour and showed another side of Pellone’s summer aesthetic.

Overall, the collection balanced lighthearted summer romance with polished sophistication, offering everything from colorful daytime looks to statement-making evening wear.
Luna Fashion House
Luna Fashion House brought a polished mix of classic femininity, bold color, and elegant eveningwear to the runway. The collection moved effortlessly from daytime sophistication to more formal statement pieces, with clean tailoring and flattering silhouettes throughout.
A vivid fuchsia high-low dress opened the mood with a playful yet refined look, featuring a high neckline, cinched waist, and flowing hemline that added movement. Another look paired a fitted red top with a wide black midi skirt, creating a timeless, retro-inspired silhouette with a strong contrast of color and structure.
The collection also embraced drama through a flowing blue and black gown, where the darker fitted bodice transitioned into a sweeping skirt with rich, painterly blue tones. A sleek navy tailored dress offered a more modern, minimalist moment, accented with crisp white piping and decorative hardware for a sophisticated, almost military-inspired finish.
For a more formal statement, a floor-length white lace gown brought elegance and softness to the runway. Its fitted silhouette and intricate lace texture gave the collection a graceful, classic finale.
Overall, Luna Fashion House showcased a versatile summer lineup that balanced bright color, tailored structure, feminine details, and timeless elegance.
To close the show, the OC Fashion Week Summer Edition brought together a vibrant mix of style, creativity, and artistry in the intimate setting of Dawson Cole Fine Art. From bold summer color to polished, sophisticated looks, each collection offered its own point of view, making the afternoon a memorable celebration of fashion in Laguna Beach.
